ABANDONFRIDAY, 24th July, 8 PM with K*N*A*P:
K*N*A*P is a band that stars Mumbai's hottest musicians on the Mumbai live circuit right now. Covering a wide genre of music from folk rock to alternative to funk and blues, the band plays original material and also their own versions of cover tunes.
Nikhil D'Souza - Nikhil first performed solo at the Prithvi theatre, Mumbai, during the 2007 Thespo festival. Since then, he has played in bands at Olive bar, Hard Rock Café, Zenzi, Blue Frog and more. Mid 2008 saw him launch his solo act, Nik Frey, with a major emphasis on original compositions; the band debuted at Zenzi in late July and played at Kaleidoscope, Sophia College.
Adrian D'Souza (Drums) - He started drumming at 5, won his first competition at 7 and was playing pro by the time he was 17. Adrian is undoubtedly one of the most successful drummers in the country today. He has played with the likes of Al Jarreau, Earl Klugh, John Hicks, and many more. He currently plays regularly with INTERPLAY, Madhav Chari, License to Funk, and tours with Roseanna Vitro (New York).
Pozy Dhar (Guitar) - Pozy played with Zero and is curently playing regularly with Tough On Tobacco, K*N*A*P, Anushka Manchanda (band not named yet) and Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family.
Kenneth Rebello (Bass) - Kenneth is one of the most sought after bassists in Mumbai. Besides being a sessions bass player with various bands, he plays with Licence 2 Funk, K*N*A*P and NIKHIL
